Postpartum Doula Services

The role of a postpartum doula is to support the new parents in the first days, weeks, or months of the baby’s life. This can look like a myriad of different supports, including but not limited to infant care, emotional and physical support after birth, light housekeeping, breastfeeding support, and overnight and sleep support. Postpartum doulas come equipped with knowledge, skills, and resources for anything your family might need during the postpartum period. These postpartum services at SunUp are about focusing on rest, education, and healthy starts for both baby and parents.

Rates:

Daytime: 

Daytime hours can be purchased individually at $40/h or in bundles of more than 20 hours at $37/h. There is a 4 hour or $120 shift minimum for all daytime shifts. ​

 

Overnights:

Overnight hours are between 10pm and 8am and can be purchased in 8 or 10 hour sessions at $50/h. Bundles of overnight sessions can be purchased at a reduced rate.

• One 8 hour session is $400

• One 10 hour session is $550

All individual hours and sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking and are non refundable.

Bundles:

Create a personalized bundle for the hours that your families needs at a discounted price! Bundle durations can be set at 4, 6, or 12 weeks. Please reach out for an individualized quote if you have alternate needs for bundle hours or mixed shift bundles (day and overnight hours).

​Your bundle includes: 

• In home support with your new baby, including baby care, breastfeeding education & support, light housekeeping, meal prep, and emotional support

• SunUp's postpartum planning list 

• Community resources, referrals, and support

• Text support for the duration of the contract between 8am and 10pm

 

Bundles of daytime hours can be purchased at a rate of $37/h for upwards of 20 hours to fit your families needs. Such as:

• 20 hours for $740

• 50 hours for $1850

• 80 hours for $2960

*Please note there is a 4 hour or $120 minimum for all daytime shifts

 

Bundles of 8 hour overnight sessions can be purchased as:

• 5 sessions for $1,880 (40 hours)

• 10 sessions for $3,760 (80 hours)

• 20 sessions for $7,520 (160 hours)

For all bundles there is a 15% NON REFUNDABLE retainer fee due upon signing of the contract. This fee guarantees your hours in my schedule. The remainder of the bundle is to be paid out prior to the start of the contract unless alternate billing has been arranged.​
